Boiled Meat Ain't So Bad

So I thought I was going to have a VERY difficult time NOT being able to cook fish or meat the way I normally do, but having to boil it instead. Of course this is just for the intro stages, but I was REALLY worried about the taste.

Here is what I did for the meat:

I got grass-fed beef and put it directly into the soup that I am making. The soup was beef broth, chopped onion, zucchini, summer squash and spices (salt, pepper, basil and rosemary). Then I cooked until meat was done. Wow oh wow YUMMO! I was pleasantly delighted by the taste!

Here is what I did for the fish:
I must admit that this one scared me most of all. I was pretty certain that the meat would taste OK, but thought that fish would just be plain BLAND boiled. But it turns out that boiled fish is actually pretty popular! So it couldn't be TOO bad, right?

I boiled water and added salt and pepper. Once it came to a boil, I added chopped onion and boiled that for about 15 minutes. Then I added the fish and boiled til done. It was YUMMY!! I think next time I might splash some olive oil on the fish to serve.
